Asphalt Resurfacing Notification
The Borough of Pleasant Hills has contracted with Mele & Sons, via the public bid process, to proceed with the resurfacing of East Bruceton Road between Delano Drive and Traverse Road as well as Valley and Beam Drive’s.
This typically entails a four part process involving drainage and inlet repairs, roadway milling, asphalt binder course installation, and asphalt wearing course installation respectfully.
All work will take place from 7am to 7pm beginning July 26, 2018 until work is completed. There will be NO PARKING on the street during these times unless otherwise directed. We anticipate work being completed by August 10, 2018.
Cars parked on the following streets during these hours could be towed at the owner’s expense. All the above mentioned dates will be subject to weather delays. The project will be extended for each day missed due to weather. Please ensure that all four steps (Inlet repair, milling, binder course, and wearing course) have been completed before parking your vehicle in the street during the above outlined timeline. This project could result in some slight delays, detours, and/or temporary road closures.
There will be no parking restrictions on July 31, 2018 for the annual National Night Out Parade.
